Hi Fellow classmates from Glenda Phillips.
How the years seem to fly by. It only seems
like yesterday when I left Mayfield West PS.
attaining my School Certificate. From there I went
onto Tighes Hill TAFE to obtain my Day Secretarial Certificate.
My first job was Secretary to the Credit manager with a financial Company. I remained there until the birth of my first daughter. Another two daughters later (Yes 3 girls).
I changed direction and became interested in home decorating. I was lucky enough to be employed by a large hardware chain where I worked in the paint dept helping customers design their interiors and exteriors.
In 2000 I divorced and changed direction again. This time I worked for a Pharmaceutical Co., I had a stroke and could no longer work.
Retirement keeps me very busy. I play lawnbowls, do scrapbooking and with five grandchildren and three daughters there is always something to do.
I can't wait until 5th June to catch up. See you all then.
